Statistical Modeler/Sr. Analyst - PA

Pennsylvania financial services firm is looking for a Statistical Modeler/ Senior Analyst to support risk management in the Subprime Mortgage business. This position will be responsible for developing statistical models for predicting loss, default, prepayment, etc.

This position requires experience in logistic model and survival analysis as well as knowledge and experience in developing loss forecasting, prepayment, and cash flow models. Strong financial background and working experience are required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong statistical modeling skills.
  • 2+ years of experience developing models using logistic regression, survival analysis, etc
  • 2+ years experience in the financial industry.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling technique including logistics and survival analysis and how to apply them to business needs.
  • Two plus years working experience with base SAS, SAS macro, SAS SQL, Unix Shell, and Microsoft office word, Excel, and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    Manager, VP Risk Management - NY Metro

    Develop next generation capital allocation framework, gain buy-in from corporate and communicate changes throughout the business. This position will not only be the main conduit for Cards Risk Management and the Global Consumer Finance group on Capital Allocation methodologies but will also be in communication with the OCC and Federal Reserve regarding any potential changes to the accepted methodologies.     Manager, Analytic Services - Bay area, CA

    California Bay area financial consulting firm seeks Director to work closely with clients and internal account teams. Make sure all actionable information contained in a client's marketing database or house file data is discovered and made useful through statistical modeling, analysis and implementation of strategic recommendations. Build an analytic relationship with each client, establishing "analytic road maps" for clients to improve their marketing results through ever more intelligent uses of data.

    Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all analytic client relationships. Develop knowledge of client’s business and marketing objectives,

Experience with Statistical modeling/data mining and an advanced degree with major work in a quantitative field a plus. Proficiency in SAS, SPSS, or other statistical software packages a must as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL as well as experience with GIS software (such as ArcGIS) and its applications in business problems. Experience with Knowledge Studio or other CHAID/decision tree software preferred. Successful track record of managing analytic professionals required. Superior presentation skills a must.

    The Contract Senior Clinical Scientist will actively participate in the development of clinical projects within a global Phase I/II clinical oncology development program. Specific responsibilities include: working with medical monitors and project team leaders to design clinical oncology studies, draft and refine protocols and case report forms, review informed consent forms and written reports (i.e. annual safety reports, final study reports, clinical sections of Investigator Brochures). In addition, this individual will be responsible for the review and assessment of safety and efficacy data from ongoing and completed clinical trials. This individual will also work cooperatively with the in-house clinical operations group that is responsible for site management of studies within therapeutic area.
